The event is the international workshop of woman art held in Naivasha – Kenya at 100 Km from Nairobi. The event is considered to be established in pure nature not inside showrooms as conventionally done. This event is composed of 16 artists from Kenya and different countries of the world.
We were invited in order to participate in this event. The gathering was immense and useful at the level of sharing ideas and artistic experience for about two weeks of continuous artistic work in order to create an artistic environment of different form inspired by the place where we stayed. Therefore, I would like to thank the workshop providers and the sponsors who financed for this art move Africa through this excellent project without which I would not have participated in this event. The most useful benefit of this event is the method of organizing such events inside Egypt especially workshops held in unconventional places such as oases, desert or remote places from the noise of cities as well as creating artistic works that belong to such environments. This is in addition to the acquired experiences from artists themselves through meeting views together as well as our friendships even at the human level. It made me greatly happy by this great artistic event which I have always dreamt to create one like it in Egypt in order to develop concepts group workshops for creative young formative Egyptian artists and to obtain socializing and experience transferring skills through contacting different societies and nationalities from different countries of the world in rare artistic environments as what happened in Naivasha- Kenya.
