Ingel Sabrina Clay is currently in N’Djamena to represent her country, Liberia, in the African Cup of Slam Poetry (5-10 November).
At just 19 years old, Ingel Sabrina Clay is an accomplished poet and spoken word artist. She has competed in 12 editions of the Liberian Peace Poetry Competition and is the champion of the 2018 Liberian Slam competition. With aspirations to be a healer and humanitarian through her art, she is compiling an anthology of her own poems and intends to teach poetry in junior high schools across Liberia.
In N’Djamena, she is competing for the continental title with the representatives of 40 other African nations. We wish her much success in the competition and in all her future endeavours!
